Ausstellung “DIPLOMATIC ART“

DIPLOMATIC ART is a unique cultural event that aims to present and promote contemporary visual artists, citizens of countries represented by consular institutions in Timisoara (Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Netherlands, Peru, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Tunisia). The participating artists are born in the country they represent and are holding its citizenship.

The DIPLOMATIC ART Project intends to certify that Timisoara is a cosmopolitan city with the perspective to obtain the title of European Capital of Culture in 2021.

 

The Romanian Artists Union, Timisoara Branch (UAPT) invites you to the series of 8 events that are part of the DIPLOMATIC ART Timişoara 2014 pilot edition, organized by UAPT and funded by the City Council Timisoara.

The 5th event, the opening of the international group exhibition, will take place at the Helios Gallery in Timisoara/ Romania, on Thursday, November 13th, at 18:00. Participating artists: Christine Kertz (Austria), Josef Jelínek, Barbora Kicovová, Ján Petrovič, Alžběta Skálová, Vladimír Vilimovský (Czech Republic), Inga Heamägi (Estonia), Rithika Merchant (India), Remo Giatti (Italy), Xhezair Rexhepi (Macedonia), Simion Zamşa, Teodor Zbârnea (Moldova), Els Geelen (Netherlands), Juan Valladares (Peru), Miroslav Pavlovič (Serbia), Clemens Beungkun Sou (South Korea), Beatriz Palomero (Spain), Olof Ahlstrőm (Sweden), Nahla Weslati (Tunisia).


The exhibition will be open from November 13th to November 26th, 2014.
